Job Description/Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for managing and growing our business intelligence function across internal and client-facing data products and dashboards. We are seeking a candidate that can bring the data visualization, report development, requirement tracking and report quality assurance experience to the team.

• Lead the execution of a Business Intelligence strategy for both internal and client facing domains through understanding business requirements and partnering with IT to implement dashboards
• Oversee and implement the design, build, and test for an enterprise-wide dashboard suite in partnership with Technology, Data Engineering, Product and business function representatives
• Be a Tableau guru to push the boundaries of the platform for innovative data storytelling
• Synthesize with cross-functional requirements to design, build and deliver beautiful, actionable dashboards in alignment with EXO branding
• Explore new and existing data elements to collaborate with Data engineering to solve emerging challenges
• Serve as the BI subject matter expert to grow collective BI competence through mentorship, questions and partnership
• Design and run the processes for effectively managing dashboard demand, change and support processes with needed integrations with Technology
• Support the growth and enhancements of BI and visualization solutions to continue the evolution toward self-service in reporting, investigation and insights
• Drive the enterprise BI strategy in partnership with EXO business units to deliver speed-to-market, core metrics and scalable self-service of answers and insights
• Own key executive reports and metrics that are consumed by EXO leadership team

Skills/Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience working in the fields of data, business intelligence, data science or related discipline with demonstrated acumen in problem solving, data exploration and data visualization
• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence & Tableau Dashboard development with advanced understanding of Tableau platform design, capabilities and best practices to drive the platform and product roadmaps
• Advanced skills with SQL to include experience with ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse and database solutions
• Strong combination of design, architecture, and data channeling skills
