Job Description

We are looking for a technical writer or document specialist with experience in project management, team/process stand-ups and documentation SME; including Business Intelligence Analytics (BIA), help desks, full lifecycle documentation. Lead technical writer regarding documentation processes for the client. Develop and continue to establish application BIA requirement criteria - Instituted assessment schedule and timeline that was accepted by the SEC for all BIA documents. SDF document support SME. Instituted industry best practice BIA process from initiation through sign-off; including scoring, analysis and final report. May also have to perform day to day PM related duties, report generation, and conduct management and client communications in related area.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years (preferably more) IT Project Management experience.
  • Prior experience managing multiple, cross-functional IT projects.
  • Prior BIA experience.
  • Experience as program / project technical writer or process documentation lead.
  • Agile Scrum project methodology experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail for Business Intelligence Analytics (BIA).
  • Ability to work in a fluid and fast paced team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Lean Six Sigma certified and / or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Desired requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years (preferably more) of experience working in a Federal Government IT environment.
  • Help Desk experience.
  • Familiarity with many enterprise and COTS products that support the Federal government.
  • Experience working at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission either as federal employee or a contractor.
  • Candidates might be asked to provide a technical or process documentation writing example.
  • Agile or Scrum certification.
  • Related certifications to subject matter

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
