This Senior BIA will create and improve upon timely, relevant, and actionable insights, intelligence and recommendations that help drive sales, marketing, product features and category selection in Amazon Business. The BIA must love extracting and transforming a high volume of data into actionable business information and making it readily accessible to stakeholders. S/he will analyze data trends to understand behavior and key insights into current performance and will recommended targeted improvements. · Develop reports and dashboards using various technologies (including Tableau and SQL) to allow internal teams (sales, marketing, product management, category teams) and Amazon Business senior management to understand issues and identify actions to be taken to solve these issues
· Provide ad hoc analytical support to improve related systems and known issues
· Build models and perform predictive analytics for customer engagement, lead scoring, customer segmentation, down-stream impact (DSI), customer churn, lifetime value (LTV) cross-sell recommendations, and win-loss analysis
· Identify insights that provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders (sales, marketing, product management, category teams) and understand and meet their analytics needs on a continual basis
· Work with the sales Master Data Management (MDM) team to improve the overall data model and data quality


· Experience in using SQL to analyze data in a database or data warehouse and be able to use a major programming (e.g. Java/C) and/or a scripting language (Perl, Unix shell) to process data for modeling
· Basic data modeling and fundamental core database concepts
· Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as OBIE and Tableau
· Excellent written and verbal communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
· Past experience working with business functions (e.g. sales, marketing, finance) within a company and/or customers
· B.S. degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a similar quantitative field
· 4+ years work experience in relevant field


· Basic/working knowledge in predictive analytics using tools such as R and SAS
· Candidates with a Master’s degree or higher with additional experience are preferred.
· Experience with developing forecasting models
· Experience in B2B ecommerce, sales and performing business analysis to solve business problems
