The Business Finance Director is a key leader in the CFO Organization with responsibility for partnering with Business leaders to craft and execute the strategic, financial, and operational agenda required to achieve the Bank’s overall performance objectives. Specifically, the role will work to provide strategic decision support, financial forecasts, and relevant key performance indicators to drive coverage strategy, investment objectives, and growth initiatives
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Corporate Finance to forecast both the earnings and risk impact of strategic initiatives
- Manage the strategy, finance, and operations for an individual LOB, or group of similar LOBs
- Provide input on all key strategic decisions, including regional, product and industry coverage strategy, product offerings, and banker hiring
- Work to develop financial forecasts, KPIs, and strategies to support TCBI-level objectives
- Articulate detailed financial drivers of LOB-level performance and support quarterly earnings and Board preparation
- Drive LOB-specific data governance framework and attribute prioritization. Significant exposure to CRM and other technology systems
- Coordinate with Corporate Finance / Treasury to improve enterprise-wide performance measurement including FTP, SVA or RAROC, and transaction level strategies needed to adhere to TCBI-wide level balance sheet initiatives
- LOB budget development and participation in innovation roadmaps
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant financial services work experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and history of working collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical ability, and understanding of performance measurement approaches
- Ability to interpret and present complex financial and banking concepts
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
