Job Summary:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for achieving the sales and service objectives for Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. The BDR is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional business relationship with existing and prospective customers along with growing the business with each customer. The Business Development Representative reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and also builds relationships with the Regional Manager, Branch Manager, key customers, and employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have five (5+) years experience in outside sales.
  • Previous sales experience should include an established presence in the area.
  • Preferred client experience is in the Engineering field (Geotechnical, Architectural, Civil, and Structural).
  • Four (4) years of college with a concentration in business is required.
  • Experience should include sales training from a certified training organization.
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of sales and customer support, and able to read and understand both technical and operational information.
  • Excellent communication skills is a must.
