The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for achieving the sales and service objectives for Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. The BDR is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional business relationship with existing and prospective customers along with growing the business with each customer. The Business Development Representative reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and also builds relationships with the Regional Manager, Branch Manager, key customers, and employees.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
> The successful candidate will have five (5+) years experience in outside sales.
> Preferred client experience is in the Engineering field (Geotechnical, Architectural, Civil, and Structural).
> Four (4) years of college with a concentration in business is required.
> Experience should include sales training from a certified training organization.
> Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of sales and customer support, and able to read and understand both technical and operational information.
> Excellent communication skills is a must.
Compensation for this position is a base plus commission program.
