As a Business Development Officer, you'll be navigating organizations to set meetings for our Loan Originators in the field. We need strong communicators who are fast learners and have a natural sales instinct to be the face and voice of Liberty SBF.

Responsibilities:

  • The BDO will utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably with referral sources such as Loan Brokers, Commercial Real Estate Brokers, CDCs, and Bankers
  • Effectively partner with Loan Originators across different geographic territories to drive growth of new referral sources and increase overall loan originations
  • Skillfully build interest and convert new contacts into consistent referral relationships
  • Research accounts in depth and utilize critical thinking skills to ensure we are communicating to the right people with the best possible message that aligns with our customers best interests
  • Make targeted outbound calls to addressable contacts to educate them about Liberty SBF products and process
  • Coordinate appointments on Originator's calendar and diligently log activities in Saleforce
  • Exceed monthly activity quotas for outbound sales efforts (emails, calls, appointments set) and converting new quoted referrers
  • Understand our lending products inside and out and articulate our value proposition clearly


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively across a variety of audiences
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Desire to take advantage of learning the ins and out of a top notch commercial real estate sale organization from experienced professionals with proven results
  • 2+ years commercial real estate experience
  • 2+ years sales experience (phone or in person)
