The primary responsibility is to identify, analyze, structure, negotiate and close Factoring & Asset Based Lending transactions across a variety of industries. Geographic territory will be National however concentration of efforts will be in the Los Angeles, California market. The individual is responsible for implementing IDB Factor’s marketing strategy in the geographic territory assigned. The individual is responsible for identifying appropriate referral sources and potential clients for IDB. The individual is also responsible for collaborating within IDB Factors, with its underwriters and portfolio management to close and assist in the on-boarding process. The individual reports directly to Division Head.
Originate transactions through direct calling on prospects and indirect calling on referral sources;
Strong client focus (quickly evaluate client needs; build/ apply understanding of client's industry; tailor solutions to meet client needs; manage client expectations throughout process)
Develop and conduct prospect and intermediary presentations and proposals
Develop and support prospect and select intermediary relationships (CPA's, attorney's turnaround professionals, investment banks, private equity funds and other appropriate intermediaries)
Participation and involvement, as officer or board member, in various industry and trade associations on a regional level.
Cross sell all IDB Bank products
Maintain and grow a sourcing network for generating future deal activity
Plan and implement various marketing events through the assigned territory
Collaborate with portfolio team to maintain relationship with assigned customers to maximize referral opportunities
Minimum ten years’ experience in Factoring/Asset Based Lending and/or Commercial Banking (Within the C&I/ Middle Market) with at least five years’ experience in originating new business.
Direct experience structuring and closing Factoring & Asset Based transactions to companies in various industries.
Direct knowledge of legal and operational aspects of Factoring & Asset Based Lending
