We're looking for a high-energy business development manager who can implement a productive standard sales process, lead by example, and sell software. You should have a track record of managing a professional sales team in Business-to-Business technical sales in a competitive market. As a "selling manager" you will generate sales but mainly you will build a team.
Reporting to the COO, this position is responsible for helping management to build a small but flexible sales team, and a marketing program to support it. In year one you will lead and grow a sales team.
You will initially be responsible for acquiring new customers, including software demonstrations, strategy sessions, and actually closing deals. You will work with management to supervise and support sales reps. From this initial Selling Manager role, you will grow with the company and take on more responsibility.
The position will be expected to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Like every sales-oriented opportunity, it's all about revenue. If you can sell, you will succeed here.
