This position is alsoresponsible for providingsupport for the firmretail and other industry initiatives andassociated business development and marketing activitiesunder the supervision ofthe Senior Business Development Manager.
This position is also responsible for the following:
Meeting with practice group leaders and partners in the Washington, D.C. office on a regular basis to identify and track business development opportunities with new and current clients.
Preparing customized pitch documents, presentation materials, and proposal documents.
Coordinating marketing and business development projects, as assigned; taking ownership from inception through implementation with support from the Senior Business Development Coordinator as project requirements and workload demand.
Working with lawyers, Marketing Communication team, and other Business Development colleagues to produce communications including e-newsletters, client advisories, announcements, biographies, and practice descriptions.
Preparing directory submissions for Chambers, Legal 500 etc.
Serving as liaison to lawyers and secretaries to build, maintain and regularly update practice group contact lists and activities in InterAction.
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree is required. Concentration in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, English or similar disciplines are preferred.
Minimum of five to eight years of marketing experience is required. Previous law firm experience is also required.
Sound knowledge of online research and marketing resources, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRMexperience is preferred.
Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
