Ameritel is looking to hire a Business Development Manager. This position provides leadership to the Business Development team, which is responsible for the increase of the presence of T-Mobile and MetroPCS Retail brands.


The Business Development Manager executes the following tasks:

  • Prospect and close potential owner/operators for new or existing T-Mobile and MetroPCS retaillocations across target markets in the US
  • Maintain an active and productive funnel
  • Execute the Sales Approach


  • Previous franchise or business opportunity sales experience required
  • Energetic and success oriented personality
  • Experience in the management and development of franchise or business opportunity network
  • Must be hands on and pragmatic, with business sense
  • Professional presentation and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate skill level or higher in the following Microsoft programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with the Real Estate process and non-traditional sites processes and demographics
  • Ability to motivate other people
  • Team worker with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have a strong knowledge of franchise operations, business opportunity operations, real estate/site selection, and franchise financing
  • Significant travelrequired


Qualified Business Development Manager applicants should have:

  • Candidates must have 3-5 years selling franchises or business opportunities
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to close sales of new franchises/business opportunities
  • Prospect, locate, contact and build relationships with operator candidates
  • Screen potential operators by analyzing credentials and qualifications
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, chamber meetings as well as any other assigned or recommended events to build a pipeline of candidates
  • Respond to and handle unfamiliar situations with limited or no supervisory guidance
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Make recommendations or decisions as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
