Job Description:

We are actively seeking a Business Development Manager with strong IT staffing sales experience at our corporate office at Columbia, MD. An ideal Business Development Manager will:

  • have the opportunity to sell Staff Augmentations and Professional Services to new clients, get MSA's in place and help generate new business development from multiple sources.

  • be highly driven and possess outstanding client presentation abilities and superior communication and interpersonal skills.

  • devise and implement marketing strategies in order to obtain technical consulting and permanent job orders from targeted client companies.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience in selling IT Consulting Services and Staff Augmentation

  • Experience in identifying prospective clients and generating business from new accounts

  • Ability to build, develop and maintain strategic relationships with major companies using IT staff augmentation and consulting services

  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision makers within prospect accounts in order to secure new business opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities to broaden the scope of services offered to existing client base.

  • Maintain a high standard of service within new and existing accounts to ensure continued business.

  • Cold calling on C-Level executives, and hiring managers within Fortune 500 companies.

  • Maintaining active accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and opportunities for repeat business.

  • Plan/coordinate events as needed to attract and establish new clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years sales and business development experience in IT staffing.

  • Must have an understanding of IT terminology and culture.

  • Must be highly driven, self-motivated and possess outstanding interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

  • Must possess a verifiable track record of outstanding business development performance in current or prior roles in the form of W-2, accolades and/or President's Club Awards.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however combination of education and experience will also be considered.
