Position: Test Bench Sales Director

Location: Remote/Virtual

Selling Audience: 

Purchasing & Water departments within Municipalities and industrial Distributors.

? Identify, develop and close sales opportunities in support of revenue forecasts

? Influence and negotiate with key decision-makers in order to maximize sales opportunities

? Build plans and coverage strategies focused on key relationships, sales areas or regions

? Generate new sales leads and follow-up on existing leads

? Develop account plans and strategies that align to sales forecasts

? Develop pricing proposals for sales opportunities

? Develop RFI?s and RFP?s for sales opportunities

? Provide support for customers

? Work closely with marketing department to identify new leads or channels of distribution

? Attend trade shows to acquire new leads for potential sales and strategic partners

? Provide demonstration of products as necessary

? Assist in developing strategic plans for vertical markets

? Provide regular updates on account status and progress to sales forecasts

? Maintain Customer Management database

? Maintain high customer loyalty and satisfaction

? Supporting sales, marketing and business development initiatives at industry conferences and exhibitions

? Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at any time and from time to time


? 7+ year?s successful track record in sales into municipalities

? The ideal candidate will have a track record of working successfully in a multi-channeldistribution model

? Must be able to travel extensively.

? Proven track record of success in identifying, developing and selling into new markets and/or channels of distribution. Consistently top performance in generating sales revenue

? The successful candidate will possess seasoned, hands-on experience managing the key functions required for this position

? Ability to establish credibility and communicate market trends effectively throughout the company

? Experience that shows sufficient presence and leadership to develop and maintain relationships with customers, strategic partners, executive staff, and otherinternal and external audiences

? Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

? Effectively present information to prospects, strategic business partners, top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors / investors

? Experience with account valuation, deployment and geographic value-based territory management
