Business growth – Deliver growth and build pipeline of new projects at existing customers and drive penetration at new accounts
Technical Leadership - Be the first point of contact to provide technical support and guidance to formulators at customer locations. Provide guidance towards customer recommendations that solve their cost, quality, and functionality requirements. Coordinate with Technical team to conduct seminars at customer R&D sites.
Strategic Plans – Develop and execute on country specific penetration plans for Ingredion excipient portfolio.
Major Account Management - Manage major customer accounts to deliver profitable growth (identifying new opportunities, margin growth, and price management). Develop and broaden the stakeholder network at customer locations into R&D, Production, Quality and Regulatory functions to gain deeper understanding of customer needs and align Ingredion resources to deliver to those needs.
Distributor management – build a Pharma and Nutra focused distribution network in region, set goals, measure performance and drive growth in customer level penetration, sales, and margin.
Innovation – provide business team a view to problems, opportunities and trends that lead to product and service opportunities and basis for Ingredion to build a stronger specialty position in the space.
Price and contract management – Overseeing the contract process to ensure it delivers value to customers whilst ensuring competitive pricing to maximise value for Ingredion.
Communication with internal Stakeholders - Develop an effective working relationship across relevant functions. Exemplify by action transparency, collaboration, and proactive issue handling
Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, or Pharmaceutics or other related discipline
7-10+yrs technical sales or support experience in the Pharma & Healthcare industry
Understanding of industrial processes and formulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passionate about business development and customer relationships
The role will require regular travel throughout the region to visit customers and other Ingredion sites.
