We are seeking a Digital Business Development Manager to identify, develop and close potential new client relationships in an assigned territory through teleprospecting. You will sell the benefits of our technology solutions to obtain commitments from prospective customers to invest in our solutions.
You will source leads and nurture new opportunities for a multiple set of industry leading Mechanical Engineering software solutions. Your primary responsibility is to develop new client relationships in the assigned territory while growing existing relationships at assigned clients. You will establish customers' needs and assist on educating clients on the appropriate products to meet their needs. This may involve working with your Engineering staff to providing technical descriptions of products and demonstrate how these products may be used in the client’s environment.
To Be Successful, You:
Have the proven ability to multi-task in the areas of new leads management, managing inbound and outbound calls.
Through teleprospecting, you will generate opportunities at commercial accounts for SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Engineering software solutions. You will call from several sources: incoming marketing leads, industry lists, and existing records in the CRM database. Hunting and building pipeline making is a key and critical part of this role.
You will identify and document Critical Business Issues (CBI’s) that exist within in your prospective client.
You will obtain and document critical information about a prospect’s use of current engineering solutions, their business objectives and key decision making personnel.
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience.
3 - 5 years of successful Quota carrying Inside Sales skills.
Driven personality with a passion for sales.
Proven effective communication skills, essential for phone work. Ability to work effectively on a sales team and be self-motivated and driven.
Computer Skills in MS Office and CRM products.
You Might Have:
Understanding of the manufacturing industry or an understanding of the Mechanical Engineering/Software/Technology industry.
Experience working with a CRM.
Experience being measured against key performance indicators for quality lead development and sales results on a monthly basis.
