Role: Senior Director - Business Development
Brief Job Description: This role is a crucial role within Global Pharma Tek Unit sales team for North America, responsible for delivering regional sales and business development strategies for target. The candidate will play a hunter role, responsible for acquiring new clients for Global Pharma Tek. This position will be responsible for the retention and growth of the existing account base, as well as the development of new business within defined market segments. This position will supportstrategic initiatives in the following key areas: customer base growth strategies, new account segmentation, targeting, and growth strategies. Bid process support and coordination.
Responsible for establishing and cultivating business relationships and opportunities within the life sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations.
Expand our presence directly with business practice in the Pharmaceutical Industry, including locating, developing, and closing business relationships.
Develop and expand upon our prospective direct accounts but not limited to small, mid-market and national accounts.
Participate in the development of sales targets and successfully deliver same.
Requirements Candidate with business development experience in Life Sciences staffing industry and/or related to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. Proven Business Development skills, including: closing, prospecting, sales planning, understanding the requirement of the client, presentation skills, and meeting/exceeding sales goals. Ability to present and sell to multiple levels within life science organizations. Strong oral and written communication skills Effective ability to balance overall sales strategy with day-to-day activities.
