Job Description 

Type of Employment:Direct Hire/Permanent

Location: Houston, TX

Position is required to develop new business in the Engineering &; Industrial Services and IOT Service

lines specifically for the Energy &Resources Verticals in the North America geography.

Responsibilities: Sales person should be responsible for the following:

Meeting the OBV, Rrevenue and Nnew logos targets in the sales cycle agreed with the Manager. Preparation and ownership of 3-year business plan for the identified business. This will include

strategy, GTM, offerings, target list and marketing plans with a clear focus on P&L.

Cultivate and develop key contacts within the relevant industry and trade associations for the purpose of business development.

Leader of a small sales team dedicated to the identified business (This will be at a future time

depending on the business growth)

Team management and career development of the team.

Collaboration with Our Client's stakeholders in new business sales, geography verticals, select account

leadership and Practices, Marketing for the identified business, to ensure successful meeting of

the targets.

Accountable for signoff on P&L for new business acquired.

Support business development in existing business.

Regular reporting & reviews with vertical and senior management.

Support in geography activities related to business development and sales administration

(recruitment, training / workshops, customer events, CSR, etc)


Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a Masters in Business Administration from a reputed

University in NA geography. Engineeringdegree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Controls

will be preferred.

Proven track record of winning multi-year, multi-million business deals in engineering, industrial

services and IOT in the E&R space.

U.S. Citizen or green card holder.

Fluent in English.


Diploma or specialization in Finance

Global experience &offshoring exposure is a plus.

Fluency in anotherlanguage (German, French, etc)

Should be able to prepare compelling business cases and sales presentations using standard MS

Office tools.

Good knowledge of Siebel CRM
