Under the Agilent CrossLAB Group the Remarketed Instrument Business is dedicatedto extending the Agilent brand into the pre-owned instrument market. You will bepart of one of the fastest growing businesses within Agilent with an entrepreneurial spirit addressing the needs of a new market segment and our drive to find new customers who purchase online as well as helping established customers upgrade their capabilities to the latest technology.

As the Certified Pre-Owned Portfolio Manager for Agilent's Remarketed Instruments product line (PLRB) you will be responsible for the helping to develop and maintainthe 200+ instrument portfolio of refurbished instruments across numerous sales organization. In addition, you will be responsible for new product line additions as well as growing the refurbished online channel presence. You will also be a ready sourcesupporting our global Business Development team as they engage with the global fieldto drive Certified Pre-owned instrument sales and buybacks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the extensive refurbished (PLRB)instrument portfolio
  • Collaborate with the originating instrument divisions on therefurbished product offering and support planning to understand the instrument lifecycle and appropriate refurbished pricing.
  • Help maintain the accuracy of the information in the PLRB online sales tools for instant pricing information
  • Own and update the global pricing model for PLRB instruments and their positioning within the Agilent new instrument offering.
  • Help to drive the Remarketed Business online presence including the eCommerce strategy for refurbished instrumentation and B2B sales including appropriate inventory listings, pricing and online promotions
  • Manage online order processing in collaboration with Agilent's Customer Operations team.
  • Work with global marketing program managers to align eCommerce with the overall PLRB digital strategy finding new customers online and driving them to online order closure
  • Support the Global PLRB Business Development team with large instrument buyback and trade-in opportunities
  • Embrace challenges solving a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexities with perseverance and respond quickly tosales needs and inquiries.
  • Determines and develops approaches to assignments
  • Leads sales/ marketing/ business/ channel development projects requiring coordination with other functions, customers, third parties
  • Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity

Requirements:

  • Bachelors University Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science degree
  • MBA or PhD preferred
  • 6+ years relevant experience in business development
  • Requires solid domain knowledge of Agilent instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must have demonstrated effectiveness in working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Customer oriented (both internally and externally)
  • Experience working with sales channels and indirect partners
  • Proven problem solver

Additional Skills Desired:

  • Product marketing experience
  • Experience with online selling of technical products a plus
  • Experience with business systems (SAP, CRM, Polaris)
