The Data Solutions Business Development Leader position will report to the Senior Vice President/General Manager for Data Solutions. The position can be remote/home office based or at any Change Healthcare office locations (strong preference for the Northeast area). We are looking to expand our business development team immediately by adding a driven and dedicated member to the team. Candidate must be able to travel up to 50%.
- Go to market owner for Data Solutions for Assigned Life Sciences Vertical
- Achieve growth & revenue targets
- Responsible for strategy, product innovation/packaging & pricing
- Develop & execute operating plan (use cases, target customers, optimal pursuit model) – develop partnerships as appropriate.
- Develop/curate our data asset to improve its value to target vertical (new data, new analytics, etc.)
- Develop/curate new uses that deliver incremental value that clients will pay for and additional revenue for CHC
- Develop & close new business – identify/qualify, proactively manage the selling process, close deals
- Gather market & client intelligence. Provide strategic feedback.
- Achieve financial objectives – new ACV, overall FYRR
- Effective collaborator inside CHC (within Data Solutions and across organization) – analysts, technical, legal, other
- Initially an individual contributor role, but with potential to build team as opportunity dictates.
Assigned Vertical(s): life sciences
- 10 - 15 years overall business experience
- 5 -10 years experience in data sales
- Deep understanding how data is purchased/consumed in target Life Sciences vertical – 5+ years.
Additional Knowledge and Skills:
- Passionate about healthcare data creating new economic value for target vertical.
- Substantial pre-existing relationships with key companies in target vertical.
- Experience understanding & quantifying the value of data
- Possess strong sales instincts & savvy.
- Excellent communicator, internally & externally
- Internal burning desire to succeed, yet a team player
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
