The Digital Identity Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for building a pipeline and closing deals to grow the digital identity business within the state agency market. The BDE will engage with cabinet-level officials, senior executive customers and technology partners across the states to foster relationships, close deals and grow business. Performance will be evaluated on rapid build out of high PWIN pipeline and closing deals. Need someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to build and win new business leveraging our $3B global identity and access management business with a focus on IDEMIA’s digital identity portfolio.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Urgently develop Mobile ID (mID) use cases with state government programs such as Unemployment Insurance, human services programs, healthcare programs, tax processing and others that require identity authentication/verification
- Define these state agency opportunities, build pipeline and win deals
- Define and implement go-to-market strategy with VP of State and Local Sales and Business Lines
- Create and maintain account plans for each major customer
- Expand account business by building long-term strategic customer and partner relationships
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts and execute aggregate plans that deliver target revenue and bookings
- Bottom line – we need someone to drive and win new business for significant growth. Must be a creative thinker and communicator with senior level state government officials leading conceptual discussions on mobile ID business models
Required Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, IT Management (or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling into states and other government entities
- Deep access and experience with Identity and Access Management solutions
- A hunter sales mentality – closing new deals in new markets
- Knowledge and experience closing government-to-citizen cybersecurity solutions a plus
- Managed Services/cloud experience a plus
