Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all sales-related activity from prospecting to close in your territory
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Successfully penetrate new accounts while developing new business from an existing customer base
- Identify leads via cold-calling, networking, events and/or other sources and develop relationships with senior executives within targeted companies
- Build relationships with influential champions and coaches inside targeted companies to help identify and qualify opportunities
- Leverage knowledge of industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value propositions
- Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process
- Utilize the GlowTouch CRM system to capture, track and provide updates on all leads, prospects, accounts and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible business development / direct salesexperience
- Proven track record of success selling IT Services, preferably including outsourced / offshore delivery models
- This is a “hunter” role and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships at both the strategic and operational levels within mid-market companies
- High level of personal and professional integrity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong bias for action, and executive presence
- Participates in industry associations/industry groups and attends industry conferences
- Ability to travel as needed
