Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all sales-related activity from prospecting to close in your territory
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Successfully penetrate new accounts while developing new business from an existing customer base
  • Identify leads via cold-calling, networking, events and/or other sources and develop relationships with senior executives within targeted companies
  • Build relationships with influential champions and coaches inside targeted companies to help identify and qualify opportunities
  • Leverage knowledge of industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value propositions
  • Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process
  • Utilize the GlowTouch CRM system to capture, track and provide updates on all leads, prospects, accounts and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible business development / direct salesexperience
  • Proven track record of success selling IT Services, preferably including outsourced / offshore delivery models
  • This is a “hunter” role and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships at both the strategic and operational levels within mid-market companies
  • High level of personal and professional integrity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong bias for action, and executive presence
  • Participates in industry associations/industry groups and attends industry conferences
  • Ability to travel as needed
