Position Summary

The purpose of the Business Development Director's job is to increase sales year over year with their assigned account(s). It is the responsibility of the Business Development Director to set forecasts prior to the start of the year and achieve the sales forecast.

  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Build long term relationships with key executives, by developing win-win positioning and eliminating barriers to continued business participation.
  • Manage and support all customer related activity and the interaction of PCC Airframe staff with their customer base for positive results. PCC Airframe expectations are for a high level of service to be provided to our customers.
  • The Business Development Director will make regular visits to customers within their defined accounts. Travel may also be required outside of their region in support of their specific programs or other programs, as appropriate.
  • Customer Service: Present PCC Airframe products, technical data, policy, procedures, and the subsequent transfer of information from the customer to PCC Airframe and vice versa. It is the responsibility of the Business Development Director to construct and implement proposals and presentations focused at the specific needs of their account.
  • Program Management: The Business Development Director drives projects within their scope of control. Project management includes overseeing the project as a leader, strategic planning, coordination of events, delegation, and dissemination of information in written & verbal, ensuring the project progresses within specified time frames and achieves a successful outcome.
  • Product Knowledge: The Business Development Director shall have a complete understanding of all of PCC Airframe products. The Business Development Director's knowledge is expected to be at a sufficient level to achieve customer service objectives. A complete understanding of all PCC Airframe process specifications is required and they are required to be able to certify personnel on all cold expansion processes.

Minimum Education or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.
  • 10 years experience in aviation industry.
  • Other Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Good computer skills, experience in MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Problem solving skills.
