  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the business development team to deliver opportunities that support the GTM plan
  • Create an environment that fosters collaboration with sales, industry, marketing, channel partners and others to launch programs that accelerate pipeline growth and bookings
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, mentoring and continuous improvements
  • Lead the team to drive ‘opportunity creation’ by actively looking for new sources of opportunities and creatively leveraging digital tools/channels
  • Support/assist the team to create strategies and plans for their target markets, perform account segmentation and market analysis as needed
  • Develop compelling and creative digital outbound programs
  • Orchestrate program/campaign execution with sales, marketing, industry and other functions to ensure effective follow-throughs
  • Always maintain accurate picture of the pipeline and attainment to the go-to market plan by leveraging the sales tools and processes in place
  • Management of the opportunities including the qualification, tracking, validation and the follow-ups with the team
  • Support the development and execution of company-wide strategic initiatives
  • Support JDA’s pivot to SaaS by collaboratively supporting the company’s effort to continue building the framework, processes, knowledge/skills, and culture that are relevant for JDA’s business development and beyond

Required Skills

  • Minimum 8-10 years in the business development field in the enterprise software industry
  • Strong background in SaaS selling/business development and proven track record in growing the SaaS business
  • Successful track record in leading a business development team with proven and verifiable results
  • Knowledge of the supply chain, manufacturing, and/or logistics, digitalization, IoT and AI/Machine Learning
  • Demonstrated experience in enabling digital outbound campaigns/programs to generate pipeline growth
  • Experience in designing and executing business development programs in an enterprise SaaS environment
  • Experience in leveraging social media or digital networking tools
  • Demonstrated managerial/supervisory responsibility over a team that is located in several offices/home offices
  • Minimal travel required


  • Demonstrated sales/business development acumen and results-oriented, understand basic business finance to identify business cases and develop potential value propositions
