The principal responsibility for this role is leading Honeywell Federal Solutions’ (HFS) Business Development organization.  You will develop, deploy resources, and manage the business development organization.  You will be responsible for providing the strategic growth direction for the organization, marketing Honeywell Federal Solutions capabilities and identifying targeted audiences and customer profiles.  You will also provide guidance and direction in developing robust opportunity pipeline, creation of new partnerships where applicable, and customer relationships for current markets and expanding to adjacent markets. You will be responsible for high level decision-making based on a realistic assessment of all potential changes and their impact. Through new ideas and initiatives, your aim is to improve the overall business prospects. The position will report to the Vice President, Honeywell Federal Solutions (HFS).

  • Lead and manage the Business Development organization
  • Develop networks in current and new markets
  • Assist HFS Senior Leadership team in monitoring current progress and charting the way-ahead

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Master’s Degree in a technical, business or management field is required
  • Minimum 10 years of direct experience in the areas of strategy, campaign planning, business development, and capture of federal and commercial contracts
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. Department of Energy "Q" and/or Department of Defense Top Secret/Special Compartment Information level security clearance.

  • Financial and international operating experience
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Deliver on complex problems without guidance
