The Business Development Director is responsible for several key areas crucial to the growth of the healthcare technology team. They will maintain Huron's status as the premier provider of HIT services to healthcare clients. The Business Development Director is primarily tasked with generating new business for the group, with a primary focus on selling direct-to-customer IT solutions such as:
-EHR, Revenue Cycle, and Clinical Solutions
-Managed Delivery and Advisory Services
-Business Intelligence, Big Data, and Analytics
-Technology Back Office Solutions
-Custom Development Professional Services
-Strategic Planning and Performance Management
In addition to sales and account acquisition activities, the Business Development Director is responsible for providing exceptional account management and customer service to our valued clients. This includes frequent contact with existing and prospective clients, via telephone, email, and in-person meetings. They will anticipate and respond to staffing requests, RFP's and all business opportunities, and seek opportunities to provide additional Huron services to ourclients when appropriate. Our Business Development Directors are the face of our organization and thrive on maintaining excellent relationships with ourmost valuable stakeholders: our clients and our consultants.
-10+ years selling into hospitals and healthcare systems
-Deep understanding of healthcare IT products and services (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)
-Experience selling consulting services and solutions
-Strong network and knowledge of the western US healthcare landscape
-Willingness to travel extensively through the western US
-Passion for sales and nurturing client relationships
