Through its easy to use data aggregation, standardization, and analytics applications, client teams can improve data quality, oversight, and access. We also provide tech enabled data services, from data acquisition through submissions. These are delivered by an experienced team of data management, clinical programming, and biostats professionals
We are currently in search of an experienced Business Development Director. The Business Development Director will be responsible for working as part of the Business Development Team to directly sell all of the eClinical Solutions services and technology offerings to identified targets.
The Business Development Director will be able to present and promote services and solutions to potential clients including new accounts, new business opportunities at existing accounts, and new marketing opportunities with the objective of establishing long term, mutually beneficial business partnerships. Successful candidates will be self-starters, with responsibilities and talents not limited to the following:
Achieves annual sales plan and sales targets for assigned accounts.
Identifying targets and develop strategies across territory in relation to eCS technology and service offerings.
Working with Sr. Director of Business Development and eCS Marketing in identifying potential outreach, events, and/or campaigns to help develop assigned territory in support of meeting set sales objectives.
Meeting established KPIs to ensure attainment of sales quotas and objectives.
Establishes, nurtures and grows client relationships at the appropriate levels.
Develops account plans and partnerships with key accounts.
Provides weekly sales activity reports to management.
Provides general intelligence on key competitors.
Sets and manages customer expectations.
Collaborates with companywide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction.
Organizes and hosts client visits and leads presentations.
Uses Salesforce to manage internal communication and document territory and client information as required for the business unit.
Responsible for Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline forecasting.
Participates in proposal scope development as appropriate.
Maintains frequent personal contact with clients.
Participates in corporate teams to build relationships with key accounts.
4-5 years sales (or relevant) experience selling services / software directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech section with direct interaction with mid-level and executive level decision makers.
Experience selling clinical data services, IT or SaaS (Software as a Service) offerings.
