Our client is recognized as one of the largest, and fastest-growing CPA advisory firms in the nation. Their continued success and rapid growth has created a need for a Business Development Director in Boston, MA. Naviga has been retained to assist in this search. 

Title: Director of Business Development

• Reports to Senior Vice President - Regional Market Leader

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Leadership Advisor to financial executives of large organizations 

• Effectively generate, qualify, and close prospective leads

• Identify target clients, build strong and lasting relationships, schedule and conduct business meetings, identify and explore client needs, present solutions, negotiate terms, and secure profitable business

• Work collaboratively with the Professional Resource Director to mentor and coach Professional Resources when requested

• Ensure the highest level of service is maintained through regular communications and Performance Assurance Reviews with clients

• Participate in the execution of the Firm’s hiring, retention, employee management and profitable growth strategies

• Take responsibility for the Recruiting strategy and goals working collaboratively with other Regional Leadership

• Assist with the company branding and community building in the local market by attending various internal and external networking events

Requirements:

• 5+ years of new account development selling services, software, or complex solutions 

• Vertical expertise: background selling software or services into Financial / Accounting Executives and C-level 

• Consultative selling and ability to cultivate long-term, winning relationships

• Passion and aptitude for developing & maintaining compelling connections

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a high energy level.

• Team player with a strong desire to be an active, long-term participant in the overall growth of the Firm

• Ability to work in a collaborative entrepreneurial environment with demanding and high-quality expectations

• Commitment to continually push yourself outside of your comfort zone

• Excellent interpersonal skills- strong oral and written communication skills

Education:

• 4YearDegree from Accredited University required. Advanced degrees and certifications a plus.
