The Business Change Manager is responsible for working with management to assist in oversight of Medicare pharmacy operations and to develop/implement plans that support realization of business unit and enterprise goals.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to :
Lead efforts to identify best practices across the pharmacy organization.
Identification of potential issues, including impacted parties, business partners, and the resources required to correct identified issues.
Must have an understanding/awareness of Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) requirements and other industry changes that have potential impact to our business.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
Designs methods for integrating function and process.
Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
Builds support for business change throughout the business unit and cross functionally.
Remain informed about regulatory and pharmacy industry changes that have potential to impact our business.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field;
5-8 years of operational management and/or oversight experience in a pharmacy benefit management (PBM), Medicare Part D or a health plan setting.
5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Medicare Part D, or other Government program experience desired.
