West East Dating (WED) is a new cross-border product offering by East Meet East.

Business and Marketing Director for New Dating App

West East Dating is looking for an energetic leader to help us grow this new product offering. EWD is a new app from the EME team that seeks to be a vehicle for on-line social interaction and dating between those with cultural backgrounds hailing from Asia to America.

Your primary focus will be on developing and growing this new business in select markets in the US and in Asia;  primarily in English speaking Asian communities like the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore. This includes all aspects of strategy, product, marketing, strategic partnerships, distribution and customer support.

The responsibilities and scope of this position grow commensurately with product growth.

Responsibilities

Full responsibility for the success of this new product offering.

Work with team members to collaboratively create initial launch plans and then execute those plans in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Collaboratively create goals. Establish ongoing dashboard and KPIs to measure performance and track high level and granular user growth & acquisition benchmarks, including metrics for ARPU/CPO/LTV/ROI targets. Drive progress and iterate strategies and tactics according to real-world data to establish this new brand.

Create and implement effective marketing campaign on multiple platforms, track progress and establish best practices for continued growth.

Work with Senior management to create goals, and then meet or exceed those budgeted revenue, CPO, and LTV goals.

Obsession with experiments to optimize user conversion/acquisition, such as:

-Optimizing conversions across the conversion stages by reducing leaks

-Optimizing conversions across specific landing URLs and channels

-Optimizing conversions across specific landing pages within the EME ecosystem via A/B testing with various elements during the conversion process.

Establish yourself as the on-site leader and voice of the brand.

Skills

A strategic approach to marketing combined with an ability to execute the details of that strategy. Must have relevant experience and success stories in digital marketing.

High skill level with all aspects of Facebook marketing is key. How have you used Facebook to drive adoption of an App?

A good working knowledge and general understanding of Asian culture. In-country experience is a big plus.

An understanding of product development. Must be familiar with lean start-up methodology and have a cursory understanding of how tech start-up  and agile development work.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing user growth campaigns and creating virality.

Demonstrated success in designing and executing user conversion optimization.

A love of data! Highly engaged with analytics: dashboard, insights, and reporting.

Advanced ability to clearly communicate to Senior Management, Product, and Marketing audiences

Must be tech savvy and have a working knowledge of the basic functions of on-line dating.

Requirements:

- BA degree in relevant field

- 5+ years of relevant start-up or small business experience

- Related experience in new product marketing and development.

- A dedicated and enthusiastic approach to solving problems

- Passionate about what you do and care deeply about the things you build

- To be bilingual in a relevant language is helpful, but not essential.

- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude a must.

- A knack for getting things done
