The Product team of T. Rowe Price's Distribution and Marketing Services team in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Technical Data Analyst. You will be responsible for acting as the primary interface between technology infrastructure and a specific business/functional area. Incumbents help define business requirements, create application and process specifications, coordinate with delivery teams, and ensure that work is prioritized by business value and in alignment with the overarching business and technical strategies. May have dual reporting relationship to technology and to business/functional unit management. Incumbents may be involved in the writing of technical documentation/materials.

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressive related professional experience
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Prior experience with Databases
  • Data modeling and BI experience helpful
  • AWS experience helpful
  • Articulates all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Actively seeks feedback and guidance to improve technical skills
  • Identifies system/process/data impacts (upstream and downstream) and proposes appropriate alternatives/ remediation
  • Demonstrates some understanding in multiple technologies/ applications
  • Can explain basic technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Identifies impacts across teams and coordinates to manage dependencies and potentially competing priorities
  • Prior experience with regulations impacting Financial Services and Asset Management industries helpful
