Business Analyst/ Records Analyst

Job Description Define and document business functions and processes;
nalyze the integration of business functions with technology;
Maintain a working knowledge of accounting, procurement, finance or contract
management;
ssist with business case development and business process reengineering;
Consult with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs
nd objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements;
Recommend new processes that yield operational efficiencies;
Conduct cost-benefit analysis;
Develop or assist with project work plans, project timelines;
Develop or assist with ITBs, RFIs, RFRs, RFPs and contracts. The Business Analyst should
be familiar with State of Louisiana procurement laws and procedures, and also have
experience in developing technical specifications and negotiating with vendors to acquire IT
ssets. Skill set info 7+ years of experience in business analysis with a focus on records management within government settings.

Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA) and best practices in records management. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field. should be within the State's core hours of 7:00 AM CT to 6:00 PM CT. In addition, Contractor
personnel may be required to work on State holidays, weekends and hours outside of the State's
