FRMT partnerswork closely and drive the technology implementation of initiatives prioritized by the Financial Resource Management (FRM) team, a Markets team tasked with the optimization of the corefinancial resources for the firm. The FRMT book of work enables Citi to maintain and build upon our leadership in Collateral, Liquidity and Capital.  Key themes for our deliverables include greater transparency into the firm’sfinancial resources, advanced analytics and exploratory capabilities, optimization efforts,forecasting, and “what-if” scenario planning to name a few. 

Description of Assignment(s), Special Projects and Deliverables

Collateral, Liquidity, Capital and Balance Sheet are each areas of considerable focus for both the firm and our regulators. Beginning this year, Citi is accelerating efforts to optimize financial resources alongside each other through increased investment in Markets led initiatives.  Our goal is to drive strong partnership across FRM, MSS O&T, Global Functions, and GFTS with a focus on technology required to deliver FRM’s objectives.  This role is to work closely with Financial Resource Management (FRM) team which will drive initiatives from a Markets perspective as well as the technology leads across multiple asset classes which have an impact on Collateral, Liquidity, Capital, and Balance Sheet. Building and maintaining relations with key senior stakeholders in FRM team as well as technology leads will be key in ensuring that the increasing portfolio of initiatives is accurately reported on, that discipline is maintained as the portfolio expands.Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead key FRMT projects in the Collateral, Liquidity, Capital and Balance Sheet  
  • Maintain PM governance structure by complying with Citi’s Markets O&T PM policy
  • Work as a partner with FRM team and across asset Technology teams to deliver cutting edge technology solutions
  • Exercise financial discipline by helping manage the team’s budget and delivering project within -3% / +0% of financial targets
  • Provide assistance to the global head of Financial Resource Management Technology on an ad-hoc basis
  • Assist with the program / project management aspect of various Collateral, Liquidity and Capital
  • Assist in various administrative and operational workflows concerning the FRMT group


  • Highly motivated individual with 6-8 years of experience in business analysis, is self-directed; exhibits thought enthusiasm, leadership and strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and departments
  • Ability to work independently to deliver within provided deadlines
  • Highly organized and be competent and confident organizing others
  • Strong listening, presentation, communication, organization and influencing skills.

  • Project Management certification such as PMP and CAPM are preferred but nor required
  • Prior experience / working knowledge of at least one Financial Resource is a key differentiator
