Business Analyst in Miami, FL

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Business Analyst performs autonomously complex assignments/ projects and proactively suggests the resources and means needed to implement the department’s services and products. This role is responsible for coordinating client projects with the Manager, the CFO, IT Lead and Project managers

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Produce detailed business requirements/functional specifications for the development of new modules
• Manage the deliverables quality according to the specifications (conception of the test plan and testing)
• Design and deliver training to the client
• Manage concurrent projects/assignments using defined methodologies with respect to the budget and the planning
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, specifications, flowcharts, presentations, product backlogs, and sprint backlogs
• Communicate effectively with project leads, sponsors, stakeholders and team members to provide project goals, risk analysis, status, requirements and solutions
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between IT teams, business resources and clients
• Proactively identify project risks and resolve issues that may impede a project or its deliverables
• Assist upper management with RFI & RFP, quotes and contracts as needed
• Be able to analyze customer’s complex portfolios and extract from the client any / all requirements applicable to a Implementation
• Be able to independently transform the client’s business into a working, optimal, and fully-functional solution in the IT Software
• Support customers during and post- implementation in coordination with the project team and the customer support team.
• The key requirement for this role is performing top quality business analysis regardless of the customer’s status (implementation in progress, post implementation). This role is responsible to troubleshoot software problems

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business or equivalent
2. At least 3 years of previous relevant experience
3. Strong working knowledge of risk management, budget and planning
4. Experience in a fast-paced Information Technology Industry / Environment.
