Support will be provided to the Data Engineering and Data Management (DEDM) program to support Consular Affairs' (CA) mission to protect the lives and interests of American citizens living or traveling abroad, and to enhance the national security of the United States.
We are looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager with experience managing technical projects, and preferably, working with or for the government. Our team members work with their federal counterparts and business owners to help CA reach its mission goals. The expectation is that these responsibilities will be accomplished through hands-on delivery. In addition to quality delivery, this position includes understanding business initiatives, mature IT processes, maintaining and establishing relationships with stakeholders, identifying and qualifying business opportunities, and positioning ActioNet for bidding, developing, and securing business opportunity.
The Junior Project Manager role involves effectively functioning as a team leader – providing motivation, maintaining budgets and schedules, managing resources and keeping deliverables on time and under budget. Our PM must be capable of operating with projects that employ either a Waterfall (SDLC) or Agile Methodology. The individual will work closely with ActioNet's Project Management Office Manager on matters relating to strategy, operations, and customer relations.
The Business Analyst role has the responsibility for working with the client to understand and document their business needs. The analyst will write business and user requirements, author traceability matrices, test scripts, test cases, scenarios, test data to execute against the RTM. The analyst will provide extensive support in creating and editing various SDLC life cycle and Agile Methodology artifacts.
