CNSI is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join the Business Team in our Olympia, WA office.
The team member will responsible for:
Analyzing existing system and process documentation to respond to inquiries related to system processing or to identify documentation impacts related to proposed system changes.
Conducting requirements management activities.
Creating/updating/maintaining requirements specification documents, general system design documents and detailed system design documents.
Working with technical leads to define design solutions across system components and identify configurations tasks.
Acting as a Medicaid subject matter expert (SME) for their assigned functional area(s).
Communicating status, issues, and risk to management team.
Participating in collaborative sessions to document Medicaid business and system processes.
Providing requirements statements and business rules to articulate end-user functionality.
Ensuring all business area requirements are included in the overall requirements documentation and design documentation.
Conducting assigned research projects and providing accurate reports to management in varying degrees of detail.
In this role you will:
Work with multiple technical leads and business analysts.
Work closely with business owners, technical teams and other stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve program business processes.
Work face to face with the customer to ensure their needs are met within the defined scope of the project.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
5 years demonstrated experience as a business analyst or systems analyst working on IT projects, to include requirements gathering, analysis, etc. (Experience in multiple roles listed may be combined to meet the requirement).
Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction.
High level proficiency using MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong interviewing, listening, observational, and facilitation skills.
Excellent attention to detail, be highly organized, and demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills.
Effective time management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to partner with other team members, project stakeholders and leadership.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, project management, and customers at all levels to ensure tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences.
Following skills would be a “PLUS”:
Previous experience with healthcare claims processing, risk-based managed care and/or Medicaid Management Information Systems, (a plus).
PMP, CBAP, or PMI-PBA certification (a plus).
Experience with MITA (a plus).
