Work with leadership to build our Controls and Automation Strategy and collaborate on current state and future state items all while helping construct our five-year plan.
Oversee PDI HQ Campus repairs, troubleshooting complex electronic and digital controls systems malfunctions.
Test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
Consult with customers through data gathered and site assessments.
Provide field proposals for retrofits and enhancements to existing equipment.
Provide sketches of field changes for engineering corrections.
Assist with job layouts and bid proposals as-needed.
Keep customer and management informed on the nature of service provided and outstanding issues.
Train the customer in controls systems operations. Deliver manuals and documentation as required.
Assist sales by providing technical recommendations for leads.
Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.
Conduct extensive self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines.
here’s what we’re looking for…
7-10 years of career progression installing and servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment.
Tridium N4 TCP Certification required.
Familiarity with Metasys and other control systems highly preferred.
Proven track record successfully integrating low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e. LON, BacNet, N2, Modbus, etc.).
Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
Vocational school four-year program graduate or associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field. (Degree may be offset by two or more years’ experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems).
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical information across all levels of the organization.
