Job Description

Legacy Marketing is seeking an event management professional to oversee the relationship between our premium spirits client and their craft brew partners. This position will be based in Chicago or New York City. Position requires experience with a beer, liquor, or wine brand.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Brewery Partner Relationship Management

· Key contact for multiple craft breweries across the country

· Develop and monitor KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)

· Develop launch plans in each market (includes launch events and social amplification, collaboration with trade/industry groups where applicable)

· Align with each brewery on featured product

· Create co-branded POS in conjunction with a robust field team

· Explore seasonal/new release spirits/beer pairings

· Lead new brewery outreach as needed

Social & Digital Amplification

· Develop social strategy & calendar for each brewery to help drive local relevance and share of conversation for the represented premium spirits brand

· Create local, on-the-ground organic social content with breweries

· Liaise with DACs to understand retailer opportunities for barrel aged beer launch

Brewery Partnership Logistics

· Manage all barrel operations (global and US)

· Lead execution of all brewery contracts (new and renewals)

· Liaise with agency and client compliance/legal teams

· Ensure legal alignment on barrel aged beer labels

· Coordinate beer logistic delivery with the Brewers Association and festivals, such as the Great American Beer Festival

· Develop action plan with Brand Ambassadors to repurpose barrels

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:

· Extremely organized and detail oriented

· Self-motivated, self-starter

· Natural relationship cultivator

· People person, strong people skills

· Knowledge of distilled spirits, craft beers, trends, mixology, drink menus, cocktail culture

· Experience with experiential marketing, sponsorships/partnerships, event planning/management and social/digital platforms a plus

· Exceptional oral and written communication skills

· Results oriented

· Polished, poised, professional; impeccable client service

· Analytical skills; ability to read complex data and sales reports

· Experience working with beer, spirits, and/or wine required

· Passion, creativity and enthusiasm

· Ability to work at a fast pace, juggling multiple overlapping projects, priorities, clients and deadlines

· Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant professional experience

· Some travel and nontraditional hours required

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Bachelor's degree preferred

· If hired in NYC, this role will be embedded in client's NY office
