Leading CPG Food manufacturer seek Senior Brand Manger - Retail Food Products. We are a leader in our space and position is open due to growth:

Important: Company will provide relocation for the right candidate - Location greater Nashville/Chattanooga, TN area

Drive overall growth and profitability of brand(s)

  • Leverage Consumer Marketing Investment to create annual brand plans that deliver growth through incremental consumer purchase through brand communication and activity
  • Understand consumer through consumer knowledge developed by SEM, through incremental marketing research and the analysis of Nielsen data
  • Development of communication plan leveraging creative brief grounded in consumer insights
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure Consumer plan can be activated effectively at Retailers and at Shelf
  • Understand and maximize P&L of brands
  • Work collaboratively with Finance to understand margins and areas of possible improvement
  • Drive margin growth through initiatives like margin enhancement, new product development and cost elimination programs

Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new product development initiatives from concept to commercialization for the retail brands.

  • Manage and implement all new product development and line extensions, based on consumer and customer learning, competitive and internal sales trends and manufacturing opportunities through commercialization.
  • Identify competitive, category, consumer and shopper insights to uncover and/or validate current concepts and identify new opportunities that will drive growth.
  • Effectively communicate opportunities, key issues and launch plans to individuals across the organization.
  • Lead all aspects of the NPD process.
  • Create compelling sell-in story, working with the RetailSales organization, including planning of prototypes, sales samples and demos.
  • Create future pipeline of new product concepts, consistent with brand strategy.
  • Define the positioning for the new brands in the pipeline.

Develop and lead all channel specific new product development products, based on consumer, customer and channel learning, competitive and internal sales trends and manufacturing opportunities through commercialization.
