PURPOSE:
Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns for key initiatives and/or categories with direct responsibilities for coordinating execution of event, digital, social and media tactics where needed.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Director Brand Communications, Senior Director Brand Communications, U.S. Category Brand Communications Leads, Global Brand Communications, Key Cities, Brand Activation Leads (i.e. Newsrooms), Agencies, Sports Marketing, EIM, Analytics, Social Purpose, and Brand Design (U.S. and Global)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the x-functional and x-category team in developing marketing and communication plans that drive Women's business and lead to effective communication activities
- Partner with Global to understand the global strategy, positioning and support plan for key concepts and influence the development of Global creative to ensure campaigns and tools are relevant within the US market
- Manage Women's omni-channel calendar, monthly womens x-functional meetings
- Support the team in writing briefs, managing agency relationships, production, post-production and internal approvals for US Women's creative and activation needs
- Be the point person for all x-functional collaboration around Women's (PR, social, ecomm, retail, CTC/Trade Marketing, events, strategy)
- Coordinate campaign/activation recaps and post mortems, identifying and sharing key learnings, analytics delivery against KPIs and best practice sharing
- Maintain an updated status report on all marketing elements with clear action items and deliverables and follow-up with x-category/functional team members as needed to ensure all project elements are on track
- Help prepare agendas and take notes for x-functional/category meetings
- Help develop Women's horizontal strategy plans targeting the VFA and vertical athletes
- Manage Budget/Forecasting for US Women's
- Open POs and track spending/invoices for US Women's
- Create and maintain presentation materials (PPT, videos, etc.) to support internal and external campaign updates, sell-in meetings

- Proven results and orientation based in critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Organizational and executional skills when owning a project/activation
- Consistent, proven ability to drive comprehensive, connected journeys across all channels
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Experience working in or managing agency partnerships
- Understanding of both traditional and digital/social marketing channels and analytics
- Proven ability to articulate and deliver insightful briefs at all levels in various formats
- Good communication skills
- Experience in developing integrated marketing communications programs; hands on experience leading a digital strategy a plus
- Strong understanding of how all the elements in the marketing mix affect consumer motivation
- Experience developing innovative strategies and strong creative instincts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), with an emphasis in Communications/Marketing/Business preferred, and
- 4 years sports or other product marketing or related experience in the Sporting Goods Industry
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree
