Effectively acquire, manage, and grow profitable account relationships.
Responsible for generating and managing a commercial portfolio. The portfolio should have an emphasis on generating loans, deposits, and other bank-related products to drive profitability.
Develop and sell cash management products, including account analysis, lock box, perfect pay, etc.
Develop a business plan to attract new business accounts, as well as deepen existing business relationships.
Drive sales and bridge gap to service.
Partner with clients and assist with meeting their financial objectives.
Meet with clients and prospects regularly. Interview and analyze the financial structure of clients and prospects and identify appropriate products and services.
Build effective relationships with Centers of Influence.
Works with the Regional Branch Administrator to meet branch sales goals and maintains a pro-active business development attitude toward both customers and prospects with the goal of expanding relationships. Participates as fully as possible in community activities and community service organizations with the intent of projecting Dime’s interests and involvement in the community.
Monitors goal and branch profitability reports to measure performance.
Works toward the goal of maximizing income in all areas related to the branch and controls branch expenses to ensure that the branch maintains profitability.
Oversees the functions of the Assistant Branch Manager to ensure overall branch efficiency, compliance, and sound operational performance.
Ensures compliance for all regulatory requirements and Bank Secrecy Act reporting. Possesses current knowledge of regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, BSA, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E. Is capable of completing the branch CTRs, is familiar with the completion of an SAR, as well as completing and submitting the internal Suspicious Activity Tracking Report and BAM Monetary Instrument Log and can do so, when necessary.
Adheres to all bank policies and procedures.
Follows instructions for any other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a liberal arts degree with business administration courses and/or minimum five years’ commercial banking experience in branch banking management and servicing of business account relationships.
Extensive Centers of Influence network; existing book of business.
Knowledge of bank cash management services and products.
Experience developing business account relationships.
Ability to manage individuals servicing a diverse portfolio of businesses with account and cash management products.

Must be a notary public or become one within 6 months of hire.
