Job Summary (Purpose of Job)
The primary scope of this position is total retail profit and loss accountability for a construction equipment store operation. Included in the primary responsibilities are sales, service, parts, rental, and used equipment revenue streams. In addition, branch manager responsibilities include business and employee planning and development.
Product line responsibility includes Volvo Compact Equipment, GPE Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Articulated haulers, asphalt pavers and compaction, Doosan Utility product line (compressors, generators, light towers), Stanley LaBounty (attachments), Sennebogen Material Handlers and K-Tech Scrapers.
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities

  • Develop and implement effective growth strategies and processes
  • Achieve and surpass financial and business goals
  • Customer relationship development, and tactical and strategic sales management
  • Branch absorption level
  • Maintain and develop strong communications with end user customers, major accounts, product personnel and all levels of management
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and foster a success-oriented, accountable environment
  • Attract, recruit, train, develop and retain a motivated, high performance organization
  • Management of safety & environmental regulations
  • Travel required

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • BS/BA in business related field or engineering required
  • 8 -10 years of experience (preferably sales, marketing, product support, product management)
  • Prior construction/manufacturing/distribution industry experience needed

Additional Important Requirements

  • Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving, required
  • History of proven P&L performance
