WHAT ARE OUR EXPECATIONS?
The Boutique Director is responsible for the successful management and enhancement of their boutique, with the main objective of developing sales, growing the sales team and reaching a consistent and sustainable high quality of service.
The Boutique Director projects and produces the sales as defined in the store action plan developed with the Senior Vice President of Retail, focusing on short-term and long-term strategic and financial objectives and spearheads strategic development, including High Jewelry. The Boutique Director is responsible for enhancing the quality and maintaining the integrity of the Maison image and identifying successful profiles and talent planning in order to define career paths and promote advancement. The Boutique Director generates new clients while developing new and innovate business ideas. The Boutique Director will represent Van Cleef & Arpels at meetings, events, charity dinners and other work-related functions in both the U.S. and abroad. Boutique Directors manage optimal levels of inventory and model stock in coordination with the Supply Chain Department and initiate new activities for new product launches, events and activities to enhance visibility in the market and increase net sales. The Boutique Director develops the Sales Associates’ sales goals and provides the highest level of customer service to support the growth of sales.
Qualifications for this role include: a Bachelor’s Degree and five to seven years of working in management in a fast-paced luxury environment. Understanding of high volume, luxury retail or hospitality experience, and understanding of the luxury client journey are required. The capacity to manage several projects simultaneously and in a timely manner as well strong computer sills and interpersonal skills are also required for this role. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to travel the US Market and abroad frequently. At this time, we are not sponsoring work visas.
