Seeking experienceadjuster to process and manage COMPLEX HIGH EXPOSURE personal lines automobile Bodily Injury claims.
*** Substantial contact with policyholders, account reps and agents, claimants, law enforcement agencies, witnesses, medical providers and technical experts for the purpose of investigating claims and determining extent of liability, damages, and potential payout.
*** Source and engage resources required to investigate claims such as subrogation, risk control, nurse consultants, and fire or fraud investigators and to other experts.
*** Determines and verifies nature and extent of injuries.
*** Evaluates liability and damages exposure.
*** Establishes proper indemnity and expense reserves.
*** Negotiates disposition of claims and alternate means of resolution.
*** Administers litigated claims including developing and supporting litigation plans with counsel, and tracking and limiting legal expenses.
*** Attends depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials and other legal proceedings.
*** Recognizes and reports adverse events and unusual-severe risks.
