Support process development upstream activities including assembling, disassembling, cleaning, and providing contamination response for small scale bioreactors.
*** Gather customer concerns and identify course of action to resolve issue within established turnaround times.
*** Assemble, disassemble, clean, and set up bioreactors.
*** Use autoclaves to sterilize bioreactors and related materials.
*** Setup and assemble transfer carts, panels, Steam In Place systems, and initiate media & buffer transfer.
*** Verify and calibrate equipment according to customer and manufacturer protocols.
*** Monitor temperature controlled environments, including excursion responses.
*** Communicate complex customer issues or potential problems to supervisor.
*** Stock and maintain inventory for consumables and equipment components.
*** Track lab equipment information including calibration schedules, open work orders, and equipment status using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CCMS).
*** Oversee site record retention and archiving for all assets.
*** Maintain metric data for work performed utilizing Good Documentation Practices in all record keeping.
*** Participate in cross training in additional functional areas such as Glassware, Cell Culture Support, and inventory management services.
*** Train new hires.
