About the Bioassay Manager role within ICON: The Bioassay Lab Manager will be responsible for designing, developing and conducting a variety of cell-based screening assays including neutralizing antibody assays. Work closely with customers to assist in the transfer, development and validation of these types of assays in a GxP-compliant manner.
Provide technical oversight including atypical results investigations, technology transfer studies, and new method evaluations. The Bioassay Lab Manager will supervise subordinates and interact with a diverse team of scientists. Facilitate a proactive management approach, with open communication lines and ensure good documentation and up to date training of the testing laboratory staff.

To succeed you will need: A Ph.D. and 3-5 years of experience in a regulated laboratory is preferred. You will need a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant biological disciplines along with in depth proven (5-7 years) leadership experience. Requires an understanding of one of more of the following: molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology and/or immunology. Good communication skills are required. Experience with software for data analysis or other statistical analysis software is considered essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
