Billing Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a robust background in billing and collections, experience in managing a team, excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency. This role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in a vibrant environment. This role will be a hybrid position in our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the entire billing and collections process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage a team of billing specialists, providing necessary guidance and support.
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate with clients to resolve any payment issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of billing and collections with overall business objectives.
• Prepare regular reports and analyze billing and collections performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to billing & collections.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in billing operations.
• Implement best practices and technology solutions to enhance billing processes.
What we are looking for.....
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing and collections, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• In-depth knowledge of billing (including claims billing) processes, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in SAP, MS Office applications (especially excel) and other billing software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
