SoftSol is actively seeking a Sales Director for our evolving Big Data practice. The candidate will identify, create, and penetrate new strategic business opportunities (outbound hunting). He/she will also hunt, find, and call prospects. It will also be necessary to handle all processes of the sales cycle from lead generation through closed deal, including managing technical evaluation, price build-up, draft proposals, negotiation, and close.
- Individual performer experienced at the Director or VP level and "solution-oriented" service sales
- Experience selling pure-play services
- Big Data experience with BI, analytics, Hadoop, MapReduce, etc.
- Industry-wise rich rolodex is a real plus
