Responsibilities:

  • Perform overall bid management activities in compliance with the proposal process
  • Maintain interface with Sales, Marketing, Engineering teams for proposal related activities
  • Manage and guide the bid process to meet all milestones and the proposal delivery schedule
  • Ensure proper security handling is applied to any classified documents and proposals
  • Review customer requirements and define proposed solution in collaboration with subject matter experts (SME)
  • Define bid strategies that are executable and profitable for Presagis
  • Support the generation of Request For Quotations (RFQs) to major suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure that the Proposal tracking tool data is accurate and regularly updated
  • Generate a proposal activities schedule/plan with milestone dates
  • Provide guidance on bid deliverable documentation structure and requirements
  • Prepare and present Bid Strategy Reviews and Cost Reviews to Management
  • Interface with Legal, Offset Management and Structured Finance when required to review contractual Terms & Conditions (Ts & Cs) and special financial or political requirements
  • Identify project risks, define mitigation plans and include in the cost estimates
  • Lead Peer Reviews for proposal deliverables
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to customer to explain proposal
  • Support Customer Audits
  • Ensure that the Proposal folders are up to date after bid submission and follow department standards for content, naming conventions and directory structure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the modeling and simulation software field
  • Good experience (3+ years) in RFP or bid management
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and PC based applications
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft project or other project planning tool
  • Good communication skills: verbal, written and good presentation skills
  • Good leadership skills, ability to interface with on-site and remote teams
  • Highly analytical and organized
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, make critical decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work productively with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
