Our Corporate Solutions Group is currently seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Specialist to join our BI analytics team.

The role is critical to the success of the global BI platform in driving performance management, process improvement and innovation thru fact-based decision making.  Growing analytics capability is an essential deliverable, and direct or indirect management of analyst deliverables may be expected. 

This position provides an opportunity to work in a broad range of areas related to a global real estate portfolio, including: facility management and building operations, energy management, leasing, project management, and real estate portfolio planning. As a Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Specialist, you will develop data analysis and interpretation skills for the BI platform, including predictive modelling and simulation techniques for performance improvement as well as develop automated tools and dashboards with IT team to provide real-time insights to business data.

To be successful in this role, you should be a confident professional with broad skills in analyzing and solving complex business problems, writing and presenting, facilitating and influencing. This includes being able to extrapolates data and be able to forecast and trending of performance data as well as analyze trends of monthly Key Performance Indicator results for performance improvement concepts. Also, you should be able to devise and promote creative data visualization to derive actionable intelligence and formulate process mapping and efficiency analyses. Having the know-howYou’ll need to have a great knowledge in Business Intelligence and be fluent in Technology.

In this role, you lead problem solving teams to develop recommendations based on data interpretation and analysis to transform behaviors and techniques. You will partner with data owners to understand business requirements and common reporting/analysis use cases and work with technical and business teams to define appropriate technical solutions which includes BI solutions & Data Warehouse implementation, data access and dashboard creation.

Lastly, you will provide subject matter expertise for all data related processes and promote and enable the import and export of best practices to and from accounts, and link the accounts to emerging practices in the industry and the BI/data fields. Sound like you? A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Information Technology or related field is required; also along 4-6 years of work experience in Corporate Real Estate environment or related field.    

MBA or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field preferred. Previous experience with other data and statistical applications are a plus (PowerPivot, Tableau, SAS, Access, MiniTab, Sigma Excel, SQL) Dynamic and Highly Skilled

You’ll need to be dynamic and technologically savvy and utilize software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with planning team and lines of businesses. You will be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlook-up, and cell calculations) and Sharepoint.
