BI Solution Architect

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 7+ years of experience of development experience with strong background in BI concepts, architecture and industry best practices
  • Provide technical direction to design and implement enterprise BI solutions in a complex enterprise environment
  • Collaborate with business and technology leaders from client to identify key business requirements to enable enterprise BI
  • Responsible for designing, configuring and deploying BI application user functionalities using Oracle BI Suite Enterprise
  • Also responsible for data architecture and data integration with dimensional data modeling, data sourcing/mapping, data flow and master data management within the implemented solution
  • Leads and conducts prototyping and proof of concept activities, establishes reusable templates and solution components to pave the foundation for complex implementations
  • Ability to travel to client site in the US
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems and, as needed, direct activities of other technical staff
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills, including experience in technical. documentation and ability to communicate with senior business managers and executives
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment

Desired Skills:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experiences in delivering enterprise-wide BI and data warehouse solution using proven solution delivery methodology framework
  • Expert knowledge with multiple successful implementations of OBIEE applications and OBIEE BI Server architecture and metadata management
  • Extensive knowledge and experiences in defining enterprise BI strategy, architect and roadmap to enable enterprise-wide BI
  • Working knowledge and experiences in data design/data modeling using well known tools
  • Working knowledge and experiences in ETL/Data integration with commercial tools such as Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator or Oracle Warehouse Builder
  • Working knowledge and experiences in developing and deploying Dashboard, and performance management solutions
  • Strong team-based organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills, but also the capability and desire to work independently when necessary
